Tells the story of a father on the verge of losing his family to a government system that sees him as the root of the problem. The film tackles with humor and heart controversial subjects like undiagnosed Autism, Toxic Masculinity, the pressures of parenthood, and the nightmare of being caught up in the system.

Steven Martini, screenwriter of “Lymelife”, "Smiling Fish & Goat on Fire" (both Executive Produced by Martin Scorsese) is known for using his life to create art and used events that happened to his family to write "BitterSweet". Starring in the leading role, he shares the story and the screen with his wife, Gabriela Kulaif, who is also the film’s Producer.
